TitleMake a cursor file with a hotspot
Keywordscursor, hotspot
CategoriesGraphics, Miscellany

Thanks to Neil Crosby.

Normally a cursor built using Visual Basic has its hotspot at the center. That is inconvenient if the cursor's "point" isn't at the center.

This example shows how to write a cursor file with the hotspot at any position. See the code for details. Also see the book Dan Appleman's Visual Basic Programmer's Guide to the Win32 API.
